For Sale - Lilly, Beautiful 3 yr draft cross

Lilly is a 3 year old, 3/4 Percheron 1/4 Quarter Horse. She has the absolute sweetest temperament.  Gets along well with other horses.  She lunges, and handling well, i am just going to start breaking her this month, June 2009.  I really don't want to sell her, she has potential for many disciplines. Her sire wasn't a stalky Percheron, so she looks a lot like a Canadian, or could even pass for a Friesian or warmblood.  She has a gorgeous floating trot.  And a smooth looking canter. I can't wait to get her going, although i like to take it very slow with a young horse, i will really only be working on getting her used to being backed, since i feel 3 is quite young for any serious training, and she's just shedding some baby teeth now. I did sit on her last fall to see how she'd react, and of course, it really didn't seem to phase her much, she wasn't worried about it. She is so kind, loves attention and a nose scratch.  It's going to be extremely difficult for me to sell her, so please, only very serious enquiries.  I will only let her go to an approved buyer and home.  Since she is green, she will need someone with experience to teach her.  Right now i am asking $2300 for her, but this may increase as her training progresses.

I hope to hold onto her until our farm sells (MLS link is on our home page), since my other boarders may move out, and i need company for my gelding until then. But may consider letting her go to the right buyer sooner, and work something else out for my gelding. It's a tough decision, Lilly has much more potential than my gelding, but he would not take to another owner, as he has many trust issues, i couldn't let anyone take him. This is why Lilly is being sold.  I haven't yet advertised her for sale elsewhere, but if you've come across my page here, you will be one of the lucky few who may find my gem before anyone else.  She will be the greatest joy to whomever buys her.
